This 100% original UK 'PXS 1' box set comprises:

• Fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' UK printed outer slip-case
• Both ORIGINAL inner & outer cardboard trays
• The glossy soft-back 'Get Back' book with text and candid photos from filming and recording.
• A MIS-LABELLED UK pressed 'Let It Be' LP with red Apple logo on the rear cover.
• All components are original 1970 issue with no reproductions, and appear here as originally purchased.


CONDITION


Outer Slipcase

VERY GOOD +

A clean, glossy & fully intact example which displays some moderate storagwear issues, but no major faults. The front panel displays some small wrinkles in the laminate from handling and a few scratches from storage. There is also some minor wear to the exposed edges but no tears or missing paper. Both upper and lower edges are square and unworn with no scuffing or missing laminate.


Trays

Outer: VERY GOOD

Complete and in-shape with some moderate light wear to the folds of the outer edges and some creasing to rounded edged fold-over flaps, but no tears or missing sections.

Inner: VERY GOOD +

This, the most delicate component of the set, has sustained the inevitable stress tears to three of the corners where the book sat. Otherwise it is fully complete and in-shape with all sections clean & intact.


Book

VERY GOOD

A fully complete copy with clean & undamaged outer jacket which bears some light storagewear rubbing, but no major faults. There is some tiny paint spots on the inside black flyleaf but no creasing or damage to any page. There are a few loose pages towards the cente of the book, but none are missing. The spine is clean, unworn & fully worded.


LP

PCS 7096 on the dark green Apple Records label

This rare mispressing has the side 1 label on side 2 and vice-versa.

Housed in a fully laminated, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a red Apple logo on the reverse.

Complete with original Apple Copyright' worded' inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: YEX 773-3U & YEX 774-2U

Stamper codes: 2,4/GMT & 5/GAM

Disc weight: 137g


CONDITION

Labels: EXCELLENT +

A fine pair with no noticeable spindle marks around either centre hole.

Visual: VERY GOOD

Clean & bright playing surfaces which do display some light surface marks and occaisional light scratches consistent with frequent play, but nothing deep or feelable.

Play: VERY GOOD +

All tracks play without any signifcant deterioration to the sound quality or indeed any major faults. In fact, apart from some minor background at the beginning of 'Let It Be' and 'The Long & Winding Road', there is little esle to fault overall.

Cover: VERY GOOD

clean & fully intact with some general light storage/handling wear, but no major faults.

Inner-sleeve: GOOD

Numerous light storage bends and age-toning to the paper but no seams splits or writing.
