'LET IT BE'
EXCELLENT UK 'PXS 1' BOX SET
This fully complete set comprises all oroginal components comprising: outer slipcase, outer & inner trays, book & LP.
This set is 100% genuine as purchased by its original owner in 1970 and no component has been switched or repaired.
Condition of components:
Outer Slipcase
EXCELLENT
This is an extremely strong & clean example which remains un-crushed and 'in-shape'. The front and rear panels are bright and glossy bearing just a touch of light storagewear but no heavy creasing or damage. All the edges are sharp & clean with just a few small 'pushes' but certainly no tears or feathering to any. Both ends are clean & intact with no significant or major signs of wear anywhere.
Trays
Outer: VERY GOOD
Again, this has retained its shape and and is fully intact. Apart from some wrinkling to the fold-over flaps and rubbing to the folds of the exposed sides,there is little else to fault. There are no tears, holes or missing sections.
Inner: EXCELLENT
Given its fragility, the most delicate component of the set is in great condition. It is unsquashed & completely in-shape. Apart from two tiny small stress tears to two corners where the book sits, there are no other significant or major faults elsewhere. All the fold-over edges are intact and undamaged with no tears or missing sections.
Book
EXCELLENT
A first class example which has been barely, if ever been read. Both front & rear covers are clean & glossy with just 3 tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkles and a small bend to the lower right corner of the front cover and a small one to the rear upper left but no other major faults. The spine is uncracked and unbent and displays just a minor rub to the lower end. The credits page 8 are printed and there are no loose or missing pages.
Record
This is 100% the original LP which was included in this set when originally purchased. It has not been switched.
Dark green Apple Label: PCS 7096
The cover is a Parlophone PPCS 7096 EXPORT example with the boxed Parlophone logo on the rear panel.
Original plain white 'Patent No. 1,125,555,' inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
Visual: GOOD
Both surfaces are clean but bear numerous surface marks and a feelable circumferal scratch at the beginning of 'Dig It', but no other major faults.
Play: GOOD
Overall this copy plays well with its only major fault being a single jump at the beginning of 'Dig It'. Otherwise only some moderate intermittant background and a few light ticks prevent a higher grade.
LP Cover
VERY GOOD +
A strong & clean example with an undamaged high-gloss laminate which displays just a few small wrinkles and a small 1cm scuff to the lower seam but no other significant or major signs of wear.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD
Normal handling & storagewear but no writing, tears or splits.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
