Description
THE BEATLES
'LET IT BE'
CONDITION
Outer Slipcase
VERY GOOD +
A very clean & intact example which retains its high-gloss laminate on both sides. There is no creasing to the front panel and just a few light wrinkles on the rear. There are a few flecks of missing paper to the the unlaminated areas of the front right edge but no tears or missing sections anywhere. Some minor storagewear is present on the upper and lower edges but there are no further significant or major faults anywhere.
Trays
Outer: VERY GOOD +
Clean & strong and still in-shape with un-crushed sides which bear some inevitable light rubbing to their folded edges. There is a single tear to one of the upper folds but both larger fold-over flaps are undamaged. The rear bears some aged fingermarks but is otherwise clean & undamaged.
Inner: EXCELLENT
This most delicate component is completely intact & in-shape with just a single tear to one of the corners where the book sits and tiny stresses to the others. However, none have torn completely through and all of the inner panels are totally undamaged. There is a single small tear to one of the fold-over edges but given its fragility, this is in fine shape overall.
Book
EXCELLENT
A fully intact copy with just minor handling & storagewear to the cover but the spine is un-cracked and there are no damaged, missing or loose pages.
LP Record
Housed in a fully laminated, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a red Apple logo on the reverse.
Complete with original crisp white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 773-2U & YEX 774-2U
Stamper numbers: 1,7/MM & 2,1/GL
Disc weight: 140g
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT +
Some light spindle trails but no other signs of wear.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both surfaces are clean & glossy with no significant surface marks or wear visible in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals numerous wispy hairlines but nothing major.
Play: EXCELLENT
This disc has received some careful play on good-quality equipment and my careful playcheck at volume uncovered no groovewear distortion or any other singificant deterioration to the sound quality. In fact, apart from some light background between tracks, there is very little to fault overall.
LP Cover
VERY GOOD
A clean & strong example with moderate handling & storagwear but no major faults. There is some rubbing to the lower corners and slight wear to the opening edges but no other significant faults.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD +
Clean & white with just minor storagewear but no writing, tears or splits.
