CONDITION
Outer Slipcase
VERY GOOD +
A extremely respectable example which remains strong and in-shape and retaining its high-gloss finish. There is some light storagewear rubbing to the laminate and a few small scuffs. the only singificant sign of wear is a small bubble in the laminate on the rear lower edge. There are a few flecks of missing paper and small 'pushes' but no major damage to any. The original small shop price sticker is still adhered to the rear panel - '59/11d' (59 shillings & 11 pence).
Trays
Outer: EXCELLENT
Often the most damaged and worn piece, this example is in extremely respectable shape. Each side is clean and unsquashed with just slight rubbing along one edge of the fold. The fold-over flaps are both clean & retain sharp and unworn edges.
Inner: EXCELLENT +
This extremely fragile and delicate component is rarely found in this condition. It is completely intact & in-shape. There are just tiny stresses to two of the corners where the book sat but no tears to any of them. All of the inner panels are totally undamaged and there are no tears or damage to the thin fold-over edges.
Book
EXCELLENT +
A beautiful & fully intact copy with perfectly clean, glossy & unworn front & rear covers. The spine un-cracked and undamaged along its whole length. The inside is 'as new' with all pages present with none that are loose, damaged or missing.
LP Record
Housed in a fully laminated, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a red Apple logo on the reverse.
Complete with original plain white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 773-2U & YEX 774-2U
Stamper numbers: -/AA & 3/L
Disc weight: 143g
LP CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A small handful of few light spindle trails but no other signs of wear.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both surfaces are extremely clean & glossy with just a few light surface marks but nothing I would call a scratch. Close examination directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals some wispy paper hairlines & a sparkling rainbow gloss shine but no further significant signs of wear.
Play: VERY GOOD +
This disc has received some careful play and apart from some occasional light background there are no major audible faults.
LP Cover
EXCELLENT +
A really fine example with perfectly clean & glossy panels which bear just the unavoidable faint disc impression but apart from that, there is little else to fault. All corners are sharp & unbruised and both opening edges appear untouched. Both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed and completely undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & white with just a minor handling/storage wrinkles but no writing, tears or splits.
