1970 UK BOX SET (PXS 1)
**100% COMPLETE + APPLE PROMO POSTER**
This rare UK box set designed by John Kosh is 100% complete with: outer slip-case, two inner trays, -2U/-2U matrices LP, softback book & an Apple Records promotional poster.
The 'PXS 1' catalogue number did not appear anywhere on the package, it was just used for ordering purposes.
This is a totally 'un-restored' example. No black ink or adhesive substance has been applied to any component.
Outer Slipcase: EXCELLENT
An impressive square & fully intact example which retains an undamaged, high-gloss laminate on both sides.
There are just a few tiny wrinkles towards the edges but otherwise the edges are unrubbed and have no tears, feathering or missing paper.
There is no creasing or any further wear.
Outer: EXCELLENT
Very clean & strong, the tray retains its shape with un-squashed, square edges, displaying just a touch of wear to the lower fold line.
Ther rear is clean & black with a just few faint fingermarks but no significant or major wear.
Inner: EXCELLENT
Completely intact & in-shape, with just two tiny (5mm & 3mm) stress tears to two corners where the book originally sat.
There are two 9mm tears to the outer flaps, but the folds are clean, sharp and square with no further wear or damage.
Book: EXCELLENT PLUS
A superb - possibly unread - copy with an unscratched, high-gloss cover which bears just a single light crease on the rear cover, but no other wear.
The spine is in perfect condition - 'uncracked' & unopened. This copy has printed credits on page 8.
(The photo shows some light reflection on the spine & lower right corner - this is not damage or wear)
LP
This disc is on the dark green Apple label: PCS 7096 with the 'Apple Records..' rim text.
Housed in a fully laminated, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the RED Apple logo on the reverse.
Comlete with original crisp white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 773-2U & YEX 774-2U
Stamper numbers: 1/LR & 2/PP

Clean & glossy example with just slight handling & storagewear but no significant or major faults.

Visual: EXCELLENT
Superb clean & deep gloss surfaces bearing just a few light paper hairlines directly under a halogen desk lamp, but no other marks or wear.
100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
This copy has recieved just a few careful plays on top quality equipment and has no signficant or major audible faults anywhere.
Poster: EXCELLENT PLUS
Factory folded with just a touch of light handling wear but no other faults.
