* Red apple logo on rear of cover.
* In EX- condition
* No tears, no seamsplits and no writing. A few light creases around the edges, mainly at the two opening corners.
* This "red apple cover" as sold was very thin and flimsy, and it is very unusual to find one like this that does not have a tear on edges.

LP
* Dark green Apple label
* Stereo

* First matrix numbers YEX 773-2U and YEX 774-2U  ie the first box set issue

* Play graded Excellent EX at least.
* Both sides have been played and listened to all the way through, see detailed play notes are at the bottom of the page.

* No creasing or marks or writing found on any of the pages.

This was the Beatles final album, released in 1970.   As sold, the box set was in a thin cardboard box that was very flimsy and only opened with great difficulty.  Unsurprisingly this flimsy cardboard container has not survived, and is not included in the sale.

LP Visual and Play
All 4 sides of the LPs have been not only visually examined, but also played on a quality deck and carefully listened to all the way through.

Side 1 - EX visually in normal light with no scratches, but very light surface rubbing becomes visible in strong light. Visually rated VG++ Play graded EX at least.  No marking on the vinyl had any effect on the sound track.  I heard no ticks, no clicks, no hops, no jumps, no background noises on the whole side.
Side 2 -   In normal light, no marks and no scratches, just one very superficial mark on the last track.  In strong light some light surface rubbing becomes visible.  Visually VG+ . Play graded EX . I heard nothing on the sound track from any surface marking.  No ticks, no hops, no jumps, no sticks, no background noises etc.  On the whole side I heard just one single quiet click in the last track Get Back, and two very faint noises in the gaps between tracks 3/4 and 4/5

- very very nice indeed !
