Description
I am selling a lot, and pricing 'to sell'. Many of the items I am listing are starting at significantly lower prices than any of the eBay auctions for the same item. I want to encourage bids and sell these things first time, which means you may well get a bargain.
THIS COPY Let it be 1970 Box Set. I'm aware there are a few different versions so I'll add the specific details below and that should tell you what you need to know, however please do send me questions if have them, or I can take additional pictures if that is what you need.
OUTER BOX - solid, undamaged, no cellotape needed, no tears. On the back in small writing at the bottom it states ' Designed by John Kosh Photographs by Ethan A Russell Printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod & Lofthouse Limited (patents Pending)'. It's as good as any copy you'll come across apart from one still in cellophane.
INNER BOX - fine, a little scuffed in places but no tears, no cellotape, no serious marks, no bits missing
INNER TRAY - one small cellotape mend in the usual weak-spot but close to perfect other than that
LP COVER - STEREO written above the title. THE BEATLES / LET IT BE Apple Records STEREO PCSO 7096 written on the spine Back of the cover has a Red Apple and beneath that it states An EMI Recording. Manufactured and distributed by EMI (Australia) Limited Sydney NSW. Apple Records STEREO PCSO 7096 up in top right of the back cover See the picture, a previous owner has written BILL on the light part of the George pic. Looks like it would actually rub off with the right cleaning fluid. Barely noticeable
LP RECORD - light marks and scuffs, nothing horrible. Clean label, also with Made by EMI (Australia) Limited Sydney NSW mentioned above the apple stalk. YEX 773 - 3U matrix on side 1. YEX 774 - 3U on side 2. Plastic inner sleeve
BOOK - Cover intact and just the normal folds in the plastic where pages have been flicked. Loose front and back pages where its coming away from the spine a bit inside, and missing first 4 pages.
MY OTHER ITEMS Please have a look at the other Beatles items currently on sale. I need to clear some room and am bundling up a bunch of things I have multiple copies of, many special items, including rare 60s memorabilia and signed items. Where possible I will combine shipping.
POSTAGE I will send well packed, and where the item is of particular value I will send registered and insured, which means the postage will be a little higher but we are both then protected. Note that Australia Post may be higher than the postage eBay lists. You can look at the AusPost website for an estimate. I will not over-charge for postage, but please wait for the final invoice before payment. It will be for the final winning price + the actual postage charge. Please don't bid if postage from Australia is going to be a problem.
