Description
THE BEATLES - 'LONG TALL SALLY'
Arguably the best compiled & sounding of all their UK EPs, this 1964 1st pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8913
A genuine red & white EMI 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' sticker is adhered to the side 2 label.
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text and have 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 1 label.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 822-1N & 7TCE 823-1N
Stamper codes: 4/RR & 6/RT
Housed in a front laminated, rounded bi-flipback 'Garrod' printed cover.

An immaculate set with just two or three faint spindle trails to the side 2 centre hole, but none around 1.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are extremely clean and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine. The only significant blemish when viewed in strong daylight is a single 1cm light surface mark on side 2. Close inspection beneath halogen light reveals just some harmless wispy paper-type hairlines but no further marks or wear.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has clearly been barely played and the sound quality is clean, bright and unworn throughout. Aside from some light background on each run-in and between tracks, there is little else to fault here.
Cover
VERY GOOD -
Although clean & glossy this example bears moderate wear, most significantly a 5mm tear to the front edge and a small stain and number written on the rear panel. Otherwise, it is fully intact and could quite easily be upgraded to match the disc.
