Description
THE BEATLES - 'LOVE ME DO'/'P.S. I LOVE YOU'
This early 1st pressing dates from initial October 1962 release and and is on the red & silver Parlophone label: 45-R 4949
Both labels carry the 'Ardmore & Beechwood' publishing credit and 'Made in Gt. Britain' text.
A 'PT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the 'P.S. I Love You' label, with 'PZT' in the run-outs.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N
Stamper codes: 1/O & 1/G
Housed within its original 'beach striped' Parlophone company cover.
Complete with a genuine & original 1960's ex-record shop stock paper bag.

Labels: VERY GOOD +
A clean pair with no writing with the only major blemish being a tiny spot of missing paper to the right of the catalogue number on the 'Love Me Do' label.
Visual: GOOD
Both playing surface are clean but do display some noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch, but nothing deep or 'feelable'.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD -
This copy has been played many times but plays and some light background is audible throughout. However, there are no jumps, repeats or other such major faults.
Cover: VERY GOOD
