On the red & silver Parlophone label: 45-R 4949
Both labels on this early copy include the 'Made In Gt. Britain' text.
'Ardmore & Beechwood' publishing credits for both titles.
A 'PT' tax/price code is visible on the 'P. S I Love You' label.
'ZPT' codes are visible stamped in both run-outs.
Housed in an original 'beech' striped Parlophone company cover.
N.B. This is NOT the 1982 reissue.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N
Stampers: 1/O & 1/G
The '1/G' side two mother/stamper confirms this copy as one of the first few hundred ever pressed.
Condition
Labels: EXCELLENT + 2. EXCELLENT
A fine set with a pristine side 1 label and just some faint spindle marks on side 2. No writing or missing paper.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both sides are clean, bright and glossy, displaying just some small, light hairline scratches in daylight (none of which are deep or feelable) and no further significant marks directly under halogen light.
Audio: VERY GOOD +
This disc has received a moderate amount of play, but both sides play with very little deterioration to the sound quality and no major faults.
