Nice sealed copy of the 1977 US Capitol vinyl pressing of Love Songs (SKBL-11711). Gold foil print on a brown gatefold cover. Promo drill hole in the upper right corner.

The shrink wrap is intact except for a small area on the upper right corner and another on the bottom right corner, where the (1 1/2”) opening in the shrink has resulted in some minor wear along the bottom left spine. Otherwise all corners are square. No bends or creases on the cover.

The gold foil hype sticker is included, but it isn’t attached, due to the glue drying out over time (I’ve seen the same occur with the red hype sticker on the 1976 Rock N Roll Music LP). The close-up photo shows the dried glue residue in the upper left area of the front cover.

A nice period piece from Capitol’s 1970s/80s obsession with repackaging existing Beatles tunes to compile “new” product for the market.
