AMAZING DAY OF ISSUE MINT GATEFOLD SLEEVE, TWO STUNNING MINT ORIGINAL SOLID CENTRE VINYL DISCS, PLUS TWO ORIGINAL WAVY TOP INNER BAGS, 100% COMPLETE AND ORIGINAL

Summary:
We are AMAZED by the PRISTINE condition of this COMPLETE and ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE Beatles Original EP ‘MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR’. It was released by EMI/Parlophone UK almost 43 years ago on 13 December 1967 as a Special EP package.

The Original First Issue Gatefold Sleeve, incorporating a 24 page booklet, and if that’s not enough, the Two Original First Issue SOLID CENTRE Vinyl EPs, and this is the BEST EXAMPLE, by far, that we have ever seen.

EP Description: Released by EMI/PARLOPHONE UK on 13 December 1967, this FIRST ISSUE MONO Six Track TWO Vinyl EP Set is on the traditional Black & Silver Parlophone Label has 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' label rims, 'Sold in UK….' Label text, and 'Made in Gt. Britain' printed to all four record labels.

The SIX tracks are: Side 1: ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ and ‘Your Mother Should Know’. Side 2: ‘I Am The Walrus’. Side 3: ‘The Fool on The Hill’ and ‘Flying’, and Side 4: ‘Blue Jay Way’.

Side 1, record 1, stamped matrix is: 7XCE 18435-1 Side 2: 7XCE 18434-1

Side 3, record 2: stamped matrix is: 7XCE 18436-1 and Side 4: 7XCE 18437-2.

Side 1, record 1 stampers: KT3/HM, Side 2: KT4/RMA

Side 3, record 2 stampers: KT1/GAG and Side 4: KT12/GOM.

There is a stamped 'KT' tax/price code visible to the centre of the Record 1 Side 2 & Record Side 4.

…And are protected in an Original FIRST ISSUE Fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse GATEFOLD Sleeve, incorporating a 24 page booklet together with a BLUE Lyric Sheet (it is currently loose but can easily be re-stapled back into the book). Printed to the top of the reverse of the sleeve is 'MONO' together with the catalogue number MMT-1.

CONDITION: see scan/s we could say that everything is Near Mint or Excellent ++; but we like to point out the most minor of defects if any, we will be picky

The Gatefold sleeve is, without doubt, in nearest to DAY OF ISSUE condition, it looks nearly as NEW - as it would have done when it left the Printers back in 1967. This FIRM, ULTRA GLOSSY sleeve has been so CAREFULLY PRESERVED. There is NO record indentation to either the front or reverse panel of the sleeve just front near spine tiny hard to see stress crease, 3 corner points are minutely rubbed as is the bottom of the spine, the bottom edge near spine minute rubbing to edge, near opposite corner just above edge minute vague age rub mark, to rear just below Mono at edge minutest surface knick

The spine edge is PERFECT.

Inside cover is a small original music shop stuck on label Osbourne's Banbury (the label is a little worn/rubbed)

All the pages within the 24 page booklet within the gatefold sleeve are FLAT and UNDAMAGED, with NO tearing, handwriting,

BLUE Lyric Sheet (it is currently loose but can easilly be restapled back into the book).

RECORDS (please always clean records before play, we do not Test Play any records, in this case there is no need, they look as if they could have only been played no more than once or twice, Visual Gradings only) Side 1 = EX+, 1st track minute hard to see hairline, Side 2 = EX++, Side 3 EX++, Side 4 EX++, the vinyl is STUNNING, the actual labels are Excellent just a little rubbing next to the spoke hole

the inner white original wavy top sleeves one has a small 2 part tear at centre hole, both show record indents and 6 or7 minute age dots or marks and we can confidently state that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to find a better example. It will not disappoint any serious collector – don’t miss it - if we are excited about it we are confident you will be too – A ONE OFF in this PRISTINE condition!

• We do keep all POST OFFICE PAYMENT RECEIPTS that the ROYAL MAIL do TREAT as PROOF of POSTAGE & this is in fact PRINTED ON RECEIPTS,

• If you are OUTSIDE of Europe = USA, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, JAPAN etc we can mail items over 1kg for around 60% of the stated Airmail Price, you would have your ITEM then mailed SURFACE MAIL this can take up to 8 weeks though please ask for quote
