This is a great example of this classic must-have album. All inserts are 100% original to this issue! The only thing missing is the spacer. Note the low serial number!
Cover: STRONG VG+: original Garrod and Lofthouse laminated top-loader shows just the slightest ring wear. There is one scratch on the back at the top. There is virtually next to no yellowing. The cover is strong and solid.
Spine: Shows a bend in the lamination and wear. Please see photo.
Records: These sound wonderful, and although they have been played (there are some spindle trails) they have been well taken care of. I took a picture of one side to show how shiny these albums are—I grade their appearance as an easy EX-. Side 1 has a passing barely fraction of a second of what sounds like groove burn near the very very end of "Dear Prudence." There is a light sleeve mark at the very end of the last track that barely makes a sound. I will be conservative and say side 1 is a strong VG+. Sides 2, 3, and 4 all play EX-. Note these are ALL -1 matrices! There are NO skips. Virtually quiet between most tracks. You simply cannot beat the sound of an original UK mono issue of this album!
The 4 ORIGINAL photos of the Beatles are in EX condition, with NO creasing and NO pinholes!
The ORIGNAL Garrod and Lofthouse poster is in passing VG condition. There is some wear at the seams and some tears at the seams. It is a bit worn, but it IS the original issue poster! There are no pinholes.
The 2 original black sleeves show wear and some tears. PLEASE NOTE I have stored these albums in MOFI sleeves for many many years and have kept EACH album in its own 12" cover, NOT inside the original cover.

GRADING
I grade vinyl very conservatively. I don't just sell records, I buy them for myself as well. The only records I will grade Mint are sealed records, and even then will note cover condition. I do not rate records Near Mint. The next-highest rating for me is Excellent.
Mint = sealed
EX = like new condition, little to no wear visible
EX- = may have a sleeve mark or two that does not make noise, or slight sign of handling, but still plays excellent
VG+ = no major flaws, looks good and plays great, occasional minor pop or click, used but not abused
VG = may have some marks that play but no skipping; may have some pops and clicks. Still a solid record to listen to.
