The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour 1976 E.M.I. PCTC 255  Gatefold BOOKLET 1st UK Press EX+

H.T.M. is a reference to mastering and cutting engineer Harry T. Moss, who worked for the EMI and Abbey Road Studios. This etching served as a form of identification, allowing listeners and collectors to recognise his contributions to the mastering process. Harry Moss's work and his etched initials have become recognisable symbols within the vinyl community, often sought after by collectors as a sign of quality craftsmanship.

Another great album is on offer from my collection. Magical Mystery Tour album first issued was in U.S. on 27 November 1967 as Capitol MAL 2835 (mono) and SMAL 2835 (stereo). This U.S. version of  Magical Mystery Tour officially was released in the United Kingdom on 19 November 1976. EMI released this album in 1976 as the first UK issue as an album. When the album was first issued 1976 in Britain, EMI did a straight pressing from the American album. Three of the tracks, “Penny Lane”, “Baby You’re A Rich Man” and “All You Need Is Love”, are in fake stereo. British version of the Magical Mystery Tour album has a gatefold sleeve and with 24-page full color booklet stapled in gatefold inside. Include original white paper EMI custom sleeve "IMPORTANT NOTICE in rectangle box" Type-1-2 (1973 -1976). "PATENT No. 1,125,555" was printed at the bottom of the white plain paper sleeve (printed in black ink) Phonographic Performances Ltd. address: Evelyn House

This is a stunning first UK issue stereo LP album from 1976, with a well preserved sleeve and near mint condition 24 page booklet stapled in gatefold inside fully intact.

Condition:

The record looks like new, with only a few barely noticeable spindle marks on the labels, indicating that it has been played very little and carefully. The music plays incredibly clearly and loudly, although there is some low surface noiselight pops in the breaks and a little, very little between songs. The booklet folding case is in fantastic condition, with only a factory stereo sticker in the upper right corner of the front cover, no creases, some corner/edge wear and slight, approx. 3 cm small rings near the upper edge of the back cover. The beautiful booklet is intact, shiny, in perfect condition, fully bound. A wonderful copy!
