Description
Original 1967 Beatles Magical Mystery Tour USA Capitol Records. Gate fold cover with booklet. This record has never been played. No spindle wear at all. SMAL-2835 ... No SUBSIDIARY on rims of labels. ABSOLUTELY THE FIRST STEREO US PRESSING.
Cover is thick,heavy cardboard and in exception condition,no sem splits etc.
People must consider that the idea of a record that looks un-played and is indeed un-played will have no surface marks.
Everytime you take a record out of it's sleeve it may leave a hairline. This is nothing really,with the exception of a record that is still in the shrink and original paper inner sleeve,it is just about impossible to not have some hairlines.
This is no exception. The record looks like new,but under strong light you can see it has been in and out of Capitols paper sleeve. In the USA we never used lined plastic inner sleeves,like the UK.
This is a true NEAR MINT ALBUM. As good as you will ever see for an original pressing.
The cover,has two PARLOPHONE stickers for no apparent reason. I can't explain that,as this is not a UK pressing,but a USA pressing. The cover is beautiful excluding those stickers. Refer to picture of spine. The booklet is totally attached,which is rare.
Cover I have to grade as EX.
Has original Capitol advert inner sleeve.
This also has the "I AM THE WALRUS"( NO YOUR NOT) on inside cover. That was only on the very first pressings. Refer to pictures.
Free shipping in USA $10.00 REST OF THE WORLD. This is extremely heavy,as heavy as any White Album by virtue that we used heavy cardboard for the covers.
This is a beauty and the pictures show it all.
