Beautiful Shiny RECORD ALBUM VG+
RARE ISSUE : "ASCAP" publishing credits on Side 1, "BMI" on Side 2. Not very many of these were printed.

Capitol Records – Rainbow (or colored ring) on the black label. The pictures don't do it justice. It looks new-like, but it's an ORIGINAL. It's glossy black and the spindle holes appear almost new. The mark on the deadwax indicates that this LP was pressed in Jackson, IL Maxtrix numbers: SMAL-1-2835-A9 and SMAL-2-2835-A9 A indicates that it is the first press for this label.Recorded and Produced, by George Martin, in England On side 1, there is a small, very faint scuff that could easily go unnoticed. On side 2, I see a very light scuff. Neither affect the sound quality.
The label has had a swipe across it, evidentially to keep it clean. The result is very faint and the label fully attached to the album. I didn't even notice it a first, but at a certain angle and light, it is visible.

I have placed the alum in a new sleeve, for better protection, but will enclose the original as well.
THE COVER - NM !!!
Fabulous rich color! The album cover is still in the factory shrink wrap with an unopened gatefold, which is very hard to find! NO Ringwear. On the upper right hand corner of the shrink wrap, there is a small separation. Also, a thumb shaped section is missing on the front that you may see in the pictures. I have arrows to help you see it. The upper right hand corner of the shrink, not the cover, it has been lightly stamped for sale purposes and it is not a defect. There is very slight wear on the opening corners. I will ship the album in a new protective sleeve, to keep it looking new. The 24-page full color picture book is still in the album cover. It appears that it has NEVER been removed from the cover. Obviously, I have not been able to inspect it, but if it's like everything else in this collection, it's incredible! The last picture is numbered. #1 and #2 show the slight separation of the shrink. #3 is the matrix number and #4 showed a little bump of one of the corners. Not too shabby to be 42 years old!Please carefully review the pictures, as they speak louder than words, and fill free to ask questions.
