The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour
(Parlophone SMMT 1 UK Double 7" EP 1967)
This is a UK original Stereo Double 7" EP pressing. It has a front laminated gatefold sleeve which has inner flipbacks at the bottom. It has a booklet stapled inside. This includes the 4 centre pale-blue lyric pages. It comes complete with its original wavy top die-cut company plain white paper inner sleeves.
The records have black & silver "Parlophone" labels which have a 4 pronged centre. They have "The Gramophone Co..." and "Sold in UK..." texts. It has an embossed "KT" tax code around the spindle hole on Side 1 and Side 3 respectively. The records have 1st press matrix numbers & mother stampers. These are as follows:
Side 1: 7YCE 18435-1 (PH 4)
Side 2: 7YCE 18434-2 (PG 1)
Side 3: 7YCE 18436-1 (RH 1)
Side 4: 7YCE 18437-1 (AD 3)
A genuine UK 1st Stereo pressing. A classic UK Psych double EP.
Gatefold Sleeve & Booklet: There is some light to mild rubbing wear to the top edge on a few areas. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. The Booklet is totally complete & has no loose pages. The staples have not rusted. There is a small & light stain on at the bottom of the very first page. There are some light or very mild handling creases. Overall, VG++ condition
Vinyl 1: There are some light or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are 3 hairline marks. They measure from 1 cm to 5 cm in length. VG+ condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition & show mild spindle wear. The company plain paper sleeve is in VG condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall. There is some light, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places.
Vinyl 2: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are 5 hairline marks. They measure from 1 cm to 2 cm in length. VG condition. The labels are in VG+ condition & show mild spindle wear. The company plain paper sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places.
