THE BEATLES - 'MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR'
1967 UK 1st PRESS *STEREO* 2 EP SET
This barely played and great sounding 1967 UK 1st STEREO pressing of thier double EP set is on black & silver Parlophone labels: SMMT 1
All labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax codes are visible in centres of labels 1 & 3.
Matrix numbers: 7YCE 18435-1, 4-2 & 6-1, 7-1
Stamper codes: 3/HH, 3/OH & 7/HO, 1/HG
Housed in an outer-laminated, storybook picture cover with blue centre lyric sheet.
The set is complete with both original white inner-sleeves.
CONDITION
Labels: Disc 1: EXCELLENT + Disc 2. NEAR MINT
All labels are perfectly clean & unmarked. Disc 1 has a handful of light spindle marks around side 1's centre hole but there are no more than 1 or two to all the others.
Visual: Disc 1: EXCELLENT + Disc 2. NEAR MINT
All playing surfaces are extremely clean & retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines. Apart from a single 1cm mark on side 1, all are unmarked both in strong daylight AND directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. All sides lie 100% flat when playing with no dishing or warping to either disc.
Play: NEAR MINT
This well looked after copy has clearly been barely played in top-quality equipment and the sound throughout my careful play-check at volume was clean and unworn with no traces of any groove/playwear on any track. There are no clicks, pops or any other audible distractions anywhere making this one of the best sounding copies you could hope to own.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
A vivid & vibrant example with a clean & bright laminate all-round. There is a touch of wear to the upper edge and some shelfwear to the lower left corner but nothing major. All the pages inside are fully intact and undamaged. There is slight foxing to the paper of the front inside page but all three central staples are free from any rust or stressing around them.
Inner-sleeves
EXCELLENT & VERY GOOD
Both are fully intact with some storage creasing & foxing to one but no tears, writing or splits to either.
