CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT +

All are pristine and unworn with less than a handful of tiny spindle trails around the centre holes of disc 1 and less than that on label 4. There is even a sliver of the silver centre hole marker left on label 3.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

All playing surfaces are clean & glossy and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine. Viewed in strong dalyight, only side 3 bears any signs of wear and that  is just a few light surface scuffs which do not affect sound or play. Elsewhere, even directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp, there is little more than a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines from inner-sleeve removal. All sides of this well cared for set lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +

Both discs have received minimal careful play and all tracks play without any groove/play wear distortion or any other significant wear. The only audible distractions found during my single careful play-check at volume were a touch of light background on the introduction to 'I Am the Walrus' and at the beginning of 'Fool On the Hill'. However, apart from those minor blemishes, there is little else to fault on this great sounding set.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A clean, strong and vibrant example of this lavish booklet which retains a clean high-gloss outer laminate with just a touch of shelfwear to the extremities of the left corners but no heavy bumprs or bruising. All pages inside are present and fully intact with just a touch of toning on the upper edges of some but no tears, writing or creases. the centre blue lyric sheet is held in-place by its three unrusted staples.

Inners: EXCELLENT

Clean with just light storage creasing but no writing, tears or seam splits.
