THE BEATLES - 'MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR'
This terrific sounding NEAR MINT double EP set is a UK 1st MONO pressing dating from initial release in December 1967 and is on the silver & black Parlophone label: MMT 1
All labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 2 & 3 labels.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18435-1/4-1 & 7XCE 18436-1/7-2
Stamper codes: 3/GT, 5/OH & 2/MO, 1/GH
Housed in an outer laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with inner booklet with a blue centre lyric sheet.
Complete with both its original wavy-top plain white inner-sleeves.

Every one is perfect with not a single spindle mark or trace of wear on any.

Both of these immaculate discs have clearly been barely outside of their covers these past 43 years as every playing surface shines 'as new'. Apart from a harmless light surface scuff on side 3, all are totally unmarked in both strong daylight AND directly beneath my unforgiving powerful halogen desk lamp. Disc 2 sits slightly unevenly on the turntable when playing, but this does not affect play. Disc 1 is 100% flat.

A wonderful sounding set. My single careful play-check at volume revealed no trace of any grove/play wear or an background interference of any kind. In fact, apart from one or two faint ticks on the delicate 'Fool On The Hill', there is nothing to fault soundwiseand would be tough to upgrade.
Cover: NEAR MINT
An immaculate 'shop-new' example which retains perfect vivid & vibrant panels with a superb high-gloss laminate finish with no wrinkles or creasing to any area. All corners are perfectly sharp with just a few tiny 'pushes' to the rear lower left one. All of the exposed upper edges are sharp and free from any traces of wear. Every page inside is clean, flat and undamaged and each staple is clean & unrusted.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
Both are clean & white with just an unavoidable light disc impression but no splits, writing or tears.
