Description
THE BEATLES - 'MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR'
This UK 1st press MONO double EP set dates from initial release in December 1967 and is on the silver & black Parlophone label: MMT 1
Labels 1 & 4 bear genuine red & white EMI 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' stickers.
All labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text and have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centres of the side 1 & 3 labels.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18435-1, 4-1 & 7XCE 18436-1, 7-2
Stamper codes: 6/GR, 3/LD & 4/RR, 1/GR
Housed in a outer laminated, full colour booklet with blue centre lyric sheet and both original plain white inners.

Labels: VERY GOOD +
All are clean and undamaged but do bear a number of spindle trails around each slightly worn centre hole. The 'Factory Sample' sticker on label 1 appears to have been torn and reapplied at some point.
Visual: VERY GOOD
All playing surfaces are clean but bear numerous light surface marks and scratches consistent with frequent handling and play. However, none appear to be deep or feelable or have any adverse affect on play.
Play: VERY GOOD
Played many times and some light background together with an occasional tick and pop is audible. However, I did not detect and groovewear distortion or any jumps, repeats or any other such major faults.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
A clean, strong and fully intact booklet with a clean glossy laminate which has some wear to one spine edge and slight corner rubbing but no creasing or bends. All pages inside are perfectly clean and attached and the central lyric sheet is clean & attached by 3 un-rusted staples.
Inner-sleeves:
EXCELLENT -
Both are clean & flat with just a a little light storagewear wrinkling and few small age spots to one, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
