IN THIS AUCTION: 

·       “MEET THE BEATLES ” by the Beatles  

·       This LP is Capitol Records ST 2047.

·       This LP was issued in 1971.

·       The COVER is a Capitol-marked cover. The number “12” is printed on the rear cover at lower right. This indicates that the COVER came from Capitol’s Winchester Plant.

·       This record has a GREEN CAPITOL LABEL. Capitol issued Beatles LPs with this label from 1969-1971.  There is a triangle with a line coming out of it in the trail-off wax. This symbol indicates that this vinyl was pressed at Capitol’s Winchester pressing plant. Since the Winchester covers with #12 were issued from 1971 to 1976, 1971 is the date that overlaps both vinyl and cover run periods.  

·       The COVER is graded VERY STRONG VG to VG+ It is still in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. Only a name stamped on the bottom of the rear cover near the opening and some aging of the white reverse cover near the opening where the shrink wrap has receded a bit kept me from grading this cover Near Mint. ·       The VINYL is graded NICE NEAR MINT. A name is stamped on the labels under the Capitol logo.

·       It’s a GREAT Beatles LP in GREAT SHAPE to add to your vinyl collection.
