Beatles Meet The Beatles Vinyl Record LP USA 1964 Mono Riaa 3 Without Credits

Label: Capitol Records RIAA 3

Product Code: T 2047

Format: Virgin Vinyl LP - Original Factory Sealed

There is No RIAA Gold Record Logo on front cover.

The words...File Under The Beatles, Pop Rock, Vocal Group T 2047 ... are found in the upper right corner, front cover.

Original true first pressing of this release, which doesn't have the BMI / ASCAP publishing credits for any of the songs on the labels. First print cover with the dark brown "Beatles" banner at the top of the front panel. The back cover has RIAA 3, which identifies the pressing as a West Coast Capitol Records Scranton pressing plant issue, and doesn't have the "George Martin" credits that appeared on all of the later pressings at the bottom left. The cover is in excellent condition without having any writing, splits or tears. The cover doesn't have ring wear, except for the front panel which has some light hints of it at the top, with the clean white back cover. The vinyl has marks and hairlines that are seen under the bright light, but nothing feelable. The labels are in Very Good Plus condition without the BMI / ASCAP credits, having some very light spindle wear and scuffing. The album comes with the original Capitol Records royal blue inner sleeve in excellent condition. Not the best, but still a great very rare copy of the 1st press in order to start up your The Beatles collection.

Discography About The Record:

Meet the Beatles! is the second Beatles album released in the United States. It was the first US Beatles album to be issued by Capitol Records, on 20 January 1964 in both mono and stereo formats. It topped the popular album chart on 15 February 1964 and remained at number one for eleven weeks before being replaced by The Beatles' Second Album. The cover featured Robert Freeman's portrait used in the United Kingdom for With the Beatles, with a blue tint added to the original stark black-and-white photograph.
