1965 UK 1st PRESS EP

**NEAR MINT**

This NEAR MINT 1965 1st pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: GEP 8946
Both labels have the incorrect 'Beatles' Golden Discs' title.
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and upper case 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 2 label.

Housed in its original front laminated, flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed picture cover.

Matrix numbers: 7TCE 888-1 & 7TCE 889-1
Stamper numbers: 1/A & 1/A

CONDITION


Labels: MINT

Just a single faint spindle trail on label 2.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Pristine, clean & glossy surfaces which are in shop-fresh, 'as new' condition.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few extremely faint sleeve storage marks but no other wear.
100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.

Audio: NEAR MINT

Played twice with perfect audio throughout.


Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS

Strong, clean & unworn example retaining a high-gloss front laminate which bears no wrinkles or creasing.
There is just a tiny bruise to the lower right corner but no other wear.
There rear is bright, white and unmarked & the seams strong, unstressed & unsplit.
