Description
Sgt Peppers Full Kit~Mono Australia Gatefold LP..including the insert (small blemish on corner) and original dust jacket.
Mono PMCO 7027 Australian Gatefold (Original First Pressing)...and these first Australian pressings came in a U.K made gatefold cover...which is what this one is...with the catalogue number PMC 7027...and just another of those interesting aspects of the early Beatles era.
Matrix numbers (both on the label and the run off wax)...xex 637-1...xex 638-1.
The vinyl has numerous (mostly light) surface marks...and visually grading good (without being very good). Plays and tracks nicely (but as always...some pick ups will have an ocassional skip and others don't...but on my Rega Planar 2 its tracking nicely). There is some background clicks and pops on the quiter tracks..but all up...audio is good...and the numerous surface marks don't affect audio as you'd expect (which is often the case).
The Sgt Peppers iNSERT...has a small tear on the bottom left hand corner..and is otherwise very good.
Has the original pink dust jacket ...in good condition (couple of minor blemishes).
The gatefold cover is nicely free of names (as are the labels) and is in good to very good condition...with some typical aging wear. The spine is in very good condition...and the seams likewise...(with just a hint of some wear on the bottom seam).
