1964 FRENCH 1st PRESSING LP
This rare LP comes from an outstanding collection of original worldwide rarities which I have the pleasure to list this week. Please take a look at my shop to see more discs from this collection.
This 1964 French 1st pressing of the 'Please, Please Me' LP is in mono and bears the orange & black Odeon label: OSX 225.
The disc is housed within a fully laminated flipback cover, printed in France.

Labels: VERY GOOD +
A clean & vibrant pair with some wear around each centre hole but no other faults.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both playing surfaces are clean but display some numerous hairlines and the occasional light mark consistent with handling & frequent play. However, there are no deep or feelable marks or scratches to either side - both of which lie 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Play: VERY GOOD -
Clearly played many times but certainly not abused. There is some groove wear present which is audible as light background, but no heavy clicks, pops, jumps or any other major distraction.
Cover
VERY GOOD
An overall clean & strong example with some storage rubbing to the front laminate. The corners have been 'touched-up' but are unsplit. There is a small repair to the rear opening edge but the rear panel itself is clean & unblemished. Both seams are unsplit and the spine is fully worded.
