Description
Just for some fun this week, I decided to list some Beatles novelty 45’s. Some are promos recorded on the same smaller labels onto which The Beatles had some 45’s issued. Other listings are some of the hardest 12” singles to find. Have fun this week!

Beatles Novelty 45 Would You Tell Her John and Paul Swan PROMO 1965
Clearly, this 45 was recorded with the aim in mind to write and record a Beatles-esque song that sounded like it could have been John and Paul. Clearly, it didn’t work. The record failed to chart, creating a nicely interesting collector’s item for the Beatles and novelty markets.
Sleeve: Generic white sleeve in good condition.
Vinyl: NM/ EX. Looks barely played since 1965.
Labels: NM.
Plates: RCA pressing. Both trail-off areas on each side bear the machine-stamped letter “R” as well as the RCA-assigned matrix numbers prefixed with their ZTSB designation.
Gorgeous copy.
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
Note: All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

(Please note: Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle. Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks!)
