PHIL SPECTOR’S CHRISTMAS ALBUM – APCOR 24 – ORIGINAL UK 1ST ISSUE **DEMO** MONO VINYL LP RELEASE!
This is a bit different and collectable, featured here is an ORIGINAL UK DEMO Vinyl LP for ‘Phil Spector’s Christmas Album’. This Original MONO Release was issued in 1968 on the Dark Green Apple label, and as you will see from the scans provided, both sides of the Record labels display the wording Demonstration Record – Not For Sale
Both record labels are in SUPER CLEAN Mint Minus condition, BRIGHT, UNDAMAGED record labels, with no more than one or two faint centre spindle line to each side, on both sides of the record labels the wording DEMONSTRATION RECORD NOT FOR SALE is printed in black.
The side 1 Matrix is APCOR 24 A-3U, and the side 2 Matrix APCOR 24 B-3U
Side 1 stampers: 1G and Side 2: 1M
Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in STUNNING Near Mint condition - GLISTENING, NEW LOOKING Vinyl surfaces - hard to fault, with just one or two small surface hairlines.
The LP comes in its official Apple Recordings Printed Inner Bag, which is in Very Good condition, showing age toning, and a 2” split to the bottom seam.
….And is housed in its ORIGINAL, LAMINATED, GARROD and LOFTHOUSE Picture Sleeve with a festive image on both sides, with track listing on the reverse, the sleeve is in Excellent Plus condition, a glossy sleeve with just a couple of light corner bumps, and mild record indentation.
Scarce official first issue PROMOTIONAL APPLE LP in great condition, a real Apple Collectable!
