Side 1 of the record label is in overall very good plus condition. A BRIGHT label, the GOLD LEAF Printed text is still VIVID, and shows the previous owners named handwritten to the top portion (see relevant scan). The side 2 record label is in excellent condition. This is a BRIGHT and CLEAN record label with Vivid GOLD LEAF. Both sides of the Heavyweight Vinyl disc are in RESPECTABLE very good plus condition. Both sides of the Vinyl are BRIGHT and GLOSSY, with only some light surface scratches, but NO deep scratches or scuffs.
The album plays REMARKABLY WELL throughout all the tracks, with only light background crackle and the odd couple of ‘clicks’, but NO skipping to any of the tracks.
The front panel of this FIRM, FIRST ISSUE sleeve is in excellent condition and still retains it DEEP GLOSSY Laminate and VIVID colours. The back panel is REMARKABLY CLEAN and BRIGHT and in very good plus condition. The bottom edge of the flipback has been neatly sellotaped, and folds neatly around the bottom edge of the front panel - this is not obvious when glancing at the sleeve, but it is there. There are a couple of corner bruises to the sleeve (nothing major), but NO record indentation. The opening edge is quite tight. The spine edge in fine condition. The printed spine wording ‘Please Please Me The Beatles’ clearly legible. The ‘Use Emitex’ inner bag is in fine condition, some light creasing and age tanning and only a small half inch split to one of the seams.
