GUARANTEED ORIGINAL, COMPLETE AND HIGHLY RESPECTABLE
VERY COLLECTIBLE, ORIGINAL 1963 UK MONO 12" Vinyl LP for The Beatles FIRST UK Album ‘PLEASE PLEASE ME’.
The HEAVYWEIGHT Vinyl LP is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, ‘Recording First Published 1963’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.
Official stamped trail out information is: Side 1 matrix is XEX 421-1N and Side XEX 422-1N.
Side 1 stampers: 2/AM and Side 2: 4/OG.
There is an embossed ‘MT’ tax code visible to the centre of the side 1 record label.
The album comes in its correct and ORIGINAL ’Use ‘Emitex’ Lined Printed Bag and is housed in its ORIGINAL Laminated ERNEST J DAY ‘mono’ sleeve, with three flip backs to the reverse, and printed ‘Angus McBean’ to the bottom right hand corner of the front of the sleeve.
The album plays EXTREMELY WELL throughout, with some light background crackle (nothing major) and NO skips or clicks.
The record labels are in STRONG excellent condition, VERY CLEAN, UNDAMAGED record labels, barely showing (when tilting the label around in the light) a few very faint spider trails around the centre hole. Side 1 of the vinyl disc is in very good plus condition. SHINY, BRIGHT Vinyl with some light surface scratches. Side 2 of the vinyl disc is in better excellent condition.. Again Very BRIGHT and SHINY with just few light surface hairlines, but certainly no deep scratches or scuffs. The Original ‘Use Emitex’ inner bag is a DECENT example, NO writing with just a neat 3" split to one seam. The Original Ernest J Day picture sleeve is in RESPECTABLE very good plus condition. The front panel is CLEAN and the Laminate GLOSSY. There is mild bruising/wear to three of the corners. The bottom right hand corner shows a neat one inch split. The spine edge is FIRM and ‘Please Please Me The Beatles’ clearly readable. The reverse panel of the sleeve is DECENT, NO handwriting, showing some age handling marks, mild record indentation and a small piece missing to the bottom flipback.
Overall a CLEAN, RESPECTABLE and COMPLETE example of The Beatles FIRST UK release, issued some 46 years ago!
