Description
This is a first issue "Please Please Me" LP (MONO) from the UK, released March 22, 1963 on the ultra-rare GOLD & BLACK Parlophone label. This first issue copy has publishing credits to Dick James Music (on later pressings, credits were changed to Northern Songs).
This is a RE-LISTING, with a much lower RESERVE. Here’s a few notes:
- NO SEAM SPLITTING OR WRITING ON SLEEVE! (unlike some I’ve seen for sale on Ebay with huge prices…) EX+++
- Labels are clean, with no tears, tape, or rips. EX+
- The vinyl has minimal wear, and played through without any skips on my system. VG+++
- Back cover has minor age discoloration, mostly on lower-left hand (see photos) VG+
- The spine is beautifully shiny, with sharp print. EX+
- Includes the original EMITEX inner bag EX
- Has ‘MT’ as the mastering stamp
- Has matrix #XEX-421
