This is my personal copy of Please Please Me being sold along with my other albums only because I have now retired from work and have moved - and need to downsize.

The album really is in ***NEAR MINT*** condition as if it had just come from the record shop. Unlike my other albums I bought this fourth pressing well after its original release to complete my collection of Beatles 12" albums. It is on Parlophone double EMI label variant which puts its purchase around 1973-4. As it was a 'collection completer' and I had already had my fill of Please Please Me songs from the EPs which I had bought earlier it has been very lightly played - in fact - hardly ever!

The labels are Near Mint with NO spindle trails. The disc surface is Near Mint with the odd finger mark.

The record serial is PCS 3042. The lacquer number stamped on the playing surface run out is YEX 94-4 on side 1 and YEX 95-4 on side 2. additional identification marks stamped are as follows: side 1 mother number is 1, and stamper code is 18. side 2 has mother number 2 and stamper code 36.

The disc inner sleeve is plain white and is Near Mint.

The album sleeve is of external seam construction and its condition is Near Mint. It has the large sized version of 'stereo'. The sleeve manufacturer is Garrod and Lofthouse.
