THE BEATLES - 'PAPERBACK WRITER'/RAIN'
Records were not shrinkwrapped or sealed in the UK until the mid-1970's making
sealed UK pressings from before that time extremely rare.
This 45 was exported to the U.S. for sale in 'Tower Records' who sealed it on receipt for sale in one of their stores.
This SEALED UK pressing of 'Paperback Writer'/'Rain' (R 5452) dates from 1969.
It has the short-lived black & silver Parlophone label WITHOUT the 'Sold in UK...' text but with 'The Gramophone Co...' rims.
Housed in its original green & white 'swirl' Parlophone cover with original 'Tower Records' price sticker on the front.
