Description
This is a very first press of Band On The Run
Has the hard to get hold of matrix numbers YEX 929-1 and YEX 930-1
Have a look around the internet and you'll read that, for sound, these first pressings are the ones to have
The vinyl is in wonderful condition, only the usual very light marks to be seen and certainly nothing nasty The labels are nice and clean I have not played it for a few years but the last time I did I noted that it played superbly with hardly any background noise at all (I had time a few years ago to play and grade most of my vinyl). I can't imagine that this will have changed as since then it has been stored correctly, though may be in need of a light clean to remove any dust etc
The cover is not the best - it has a lot of shelfwear along the edges/corners and some ringwear
The 1st press inner (with the 3 cut corners) is also showing it's age - with a split at the bottom and a tape mark where it's tried to be repaired
The poster is present and has some creasing and a small tear on one edge around a third of the way down. There are no pin holes or tape residue as you sometimes find
This copy is all about the very hard to find matrix 1/1 vinyl which is in lovely condition. Although the cover and inner are still serviceable if you already have a good cover/inner this would be ideal
UK only please Will be sent signed for in record mailer with stiffeners
