Description
I am selling many BEATLES and BEATLES-RELATED LPs from my collection. So, please check my other auctions.
IN THIS AUCTION:
· “BAND ON THE RUN” by Paul McCartney & Wings
· This LP is Columbia Records HC-46482.
· This LP is the CBS Half-Speed Mastered Mastersound Audiophile Pressing of this LP.
· It was released in 1981.
· The LP contains 9 cuts including some of Paul McCartney & Wings’ BEST: “Band on the Run”, “Jet”, and “Let me Roll It”.
· The COVER is GRADED NEAR MINT MINUS. There are 3 small corner pushes and a few very light creases near the spine that keep me from grading it Near Mint. The cover is better than VG+ grade, so I am using Near Mint Minus.
· The VINYL is GRADED NEAR MINT AS THE VINYL OF AN AUDIOPHILE LP SHOULD BE!!!
· The vinyl comes with: 1) its protective anti-static inner sleeve, 2) insert from CBS Records “Introducing the CBS Mastersound Series” (that has the specs and describes the half-speed mastering process), 3) a photo/lyric inner sheet that resembles the inner sleeve of the original LP, and 3) the original heavy plastic outer sleeve cover that has the “MASTERSOUND FACTORY SEALED” sticker across the back.
· This audiophile pressing of “Band On The Run” was not issued with the poster that came in the original Apple Records issue of the LP.
· Information provided is based on Perry Cox’s Price Guide for the Beatles American Records.
· A WONDERFUL NEAR MINT AUDIOPHILE LP THAT WAS A LANDMARK LP FOR PAUL McCARTNEY & WINGS AND WILL MAKE A FINE ADDITON TO YOUR VINYL COLLECTION!!!
FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY grade the LPs and 45s I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
