The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. Paul McCartney & Wings-"Wings At The Speed Of Sound" LP, Capitol SW-11525, pressed in 1976. This is a very scarce white label promo pressing, essentially a test pressing. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in strong VG+ to NM- condition; each side has a few very light marks, more on side one than two. Both sides still gleam like new. Labels are in NM- condition with several spindle marks and some marks on the side 2 label (see pic). Cover, is in strong VG condition with some general age wear, nothing severe, and a promo hole (not a cut out hole; it's been well documented that this is how Capitol marked their promo LP's at the time). There is no custom inner sleeve included. It's either just missing (but easily replaced) or, as this was pressed before the stock LP, it might not have been ready yet. LP will come in a plain white sleeve. Very rare piece of Paul vinyl; this promo pressing is much harder to find than you think.
