Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
Pete Best (listed on label as "BEST Of The BEATLES")-"If You Can't Get Her"/"The Way I Feel About You", Happening HE1118, released in 1966. This is a 2nd pressing; the first pressing was released in 1964 with a different B-side. Pete has signed the B-side of this one. This has not been authenticated, but it compares favorably with one I do have that's been authenticated and with the numerous examples on the internet (Pete's signed a lot of stuff over the years). Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in strong VG condition, with both sides having several light marks. Both sides still retain their gloss. Labels are in excellent condition. This will come in a plain sleeve. Although this is signed, the real value is in the 45 itself; ironically, most of Pete's 45's are more valuable than the majority of Beatles 45's. This one is very hard to find.
