Description
For sale is a rare copy of The Beatles first 12" album Please Please Me on the Parlophone label. This is the First Mono Pressing on the Black and Gold label with the Dick James credits.
This record is listed in the 'Record collector rare record price guide 2010' and all gradings of this record are based on that guide.
Parlophone Label 1963.
With the Parlophone Co Ltd label text but without Sold in UK text.
Cat No: PMC 1202.
Matrix XEX 421/2 - 1N.
Stampers ZT on side 2 label.
Mono.
A 14 Track LP.
Record housed in a white emitex paper sleeve with polythene inner.

GRADING
The record shows signs of having been played with minor surface noise between songs and surface marks present on Side 2. Side 1 is spotless to the naked eye. The sound quality remains Very Good on both sides with no skips or jumps. All records are cleaned before posting and is rated EX/VG.
The white paper emitex sleeve with polythene inner has general creasing / staining with no tears or splits. VG/Good.
The laminated sleeve (front only) has general wear / creasing with staining on the rear (see photo) near title listing, especially around edges with no major tears. There is a small section on the rear bottom right corner on the flap which has come loose that could be stuck back down if need be. On the rear is the track listing and general information. VG/Good at best.
Polythene sleeve include for protection.
