THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
1963 UK *MONO* 4th PRESSING LP
**NEAR MINT**
This outstanding 1963 UK mono 4th pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1202
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed cover with the large mono logo.
Complete with white 'Use Emitex' poly-lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N
Stamper numbers: 1,7/GMM & 4,6/GPG
Labels: NEAR MINT
No spindle marks/trails.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both appear in MINT condition when viewed in strong daylight, bearing no scuffs, marks or any scratches to either side.
Careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy inner-sleeve/paper hairlines but no further marks or wear.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This fine copy has received a few careful plays on good quality equipment and no audible wear is detectable on any track.
All songs play without any trace of groovewear distortion, background noise, clicks or any other faults.
Listening carefully at volume, I detected just 3 very soft ticks between tracks 4 & 5 on side 1.
Otherwise both run-ins & all bands play silently, with no further signs of audible wear.
A common pressing but extremely hard to find in this condition.

This outstanding example retains a perfect high-gloss front laminate, free from any creasing, storagewear, rubbing or other wear.
All corners all perfectly square & unbumped and the opening edges are pristine & untouched.
The rear panel is pristine white with just a few very small & faint age-spots but no writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks, seams and the spine are in perfect unbent & unworn condition.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
Crisp, white and undamaged with just some normal light wrinkles from storage but no splits, tears or writing.
