THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
1967 UK 6th *MONO* PRESSING LP
**NEAR MINT**
This rare 1967 UK MONO pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1202
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in its correct front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed 'small' mono logo cover.
Complete with its original black & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1 & XEX 422-2
Stamper numbers: 1,9/RHG & 6/GA
Labels: NEAR MINT
A small paper crack on the side 1 hole from manufacture but no spindle marks to either label.
Visual: Side 1 NEAR MINT Side 2 EXCELLENT
Extremely clean surfaces deep gloss shines surfaces and apart from a single light fingernail line on side 2 in daylight, all appears 'as new'
Careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals a few minor inner-sleeve storage marks and wispy paper hairlines but no further wear.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Barely, if ever, played, this is copy plays without any groovewear distortion, background noise or any other significant or major audible fault.
Both run-ins & all bands plays cleanly without any ticks, clicks or other intereference.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & strong example with a vibrant front panel which bears just a few laminate small wrinkles and 3 'thumbnail' creases but no major faults
The corners all unbumped and undamaged and the opening edges are both clean & sharp with no tears or 'feathering'.
The rear panel is white & clean with just a hint of toning to toward the opening edge but no marks, writing or missing paper.
The flipbacks, seams and the spine are all in clean, undamaged condition.
