1963 UK *1st PRESS* MONO LP
Black & GOLD Parlophone label - PMC 1202
With correct 'Northern Songs' publishing credits on both labels.
This early copy has a 'grooved' side 2 label, seen only on initial copies
'MT' tax/price code on side 1 label.
Correct, early front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' mono cover with 'Angus McBean' credit in the extreme lower right corner.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' poly-lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix nos: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N

Labels: EXCELLENT
Clean & bright with no writing, hole 'touch-up' or missing paper.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Clean & glossy surfaces which bear just an occaisional light fingernail scuff & stylus hairline, but no deep or heavy marks. Some wispy paper hairlines are visible under halogen light but there is no further major wear on either side.
Play: EXCELLENT
Carefully and certainly not overplayed, all tracks play without any significant or major deterioration to the sound quality. There are no heavy clicks, jumps or repeats and apart from some light background between tracks there is little to fault.
Cover
VERY GOOD -
A respectable example with a bright, glossy laminate which displays light edge wrinkles but no major creasing or wear. The rear has some dried residue from some old adhesive tape to the opening edge and lower flipback and a small, faint name in the upper left corner. Apart from a small missing section in the upper right corner, all flipbacks are intact and both seams and the spine are unworn and unsplit.

No tears or splits.
