this is the Beatles Please Please Me Black & Gold Label Mono PMC 1202,1963 first pressing.The record is in EX condition with 1 or 2 very fine light marks due to taking the record in & out of the Original inner sleeve which has a pic of the Fab 4 [circa 63] stuck on it the day i bought it & Brian Epstein stuck on the day he died[they don't spoil it].. The record plays fantastically good on my DJ turntable, although i am not a DJ. There is very little evidence of the record having been played too much because i went out & bought another of this LP this time on Yellow\Black label at the time. No spindle wear is visibly evident..,record plays with no crackles pops or jumps, even between tracks you can hear what sounds like the next song playing very very faintly sort of like an introduction & the sound is like new.the scan shows what appears to marks but they are not on the record.. It has the Dick James credits on Ask Me Why & Please Please Me & Do Want To Know A Secret & There's A Place.XEX 421-1n\ XEX 422-1n is on the runout groove.There is no tax code on side 1 there is on side 2[mzt].. There is no writing on the labels, either side being extremely clean.Cover is EX with a bit of age showing on the corners & some of the joints.The spine is very good+.. It is quite clean with no writing on it.It has the Angus McBean Credit on the right of the cover & the Ernest J Day & Co Ltd on the rear cover. This record is overall an excellent & collectable piece of history..If you have any questions please email me..thank you for looking.
