Description: 12" vinyl release LP by The Beatles - Please Please Me. Complete 4th UK Pressing- With the parlophone co.ltd and recording first published text but without sold in U.K. Matrices -XEX 421- 1N/ XEX422- 1N. . Black and yellow parlophone labels. Laminated Ernest J. Day & Co. cover. In "Emitex" poly lined inner with made in england text. Record label and cat number : Parlophone PMC 1202 Country of release: U.K Year of Release: 1963 Vinyl/Cover condition:EX-/VG+. Vinyl is very clean with a nice dark sheen. Has a few light hairlines but no significant surface lines. Played today on my Ariston RD-80 Transcription deck and it sounds fantastic. Great clarity, loudness and harmony. Easily one of the best playing copies of this ive had - certainly the best ive ever sold.. Light background noise between tracks. Flipback cover has light edge wear, corner wear and creasing. As usual there is moderate creasing to the bottom flip back edge where it has been caught over the years. Spine clean,sharp and is still fully ledgible. Cover would be EX if not for the creasing to flipback. Very clean labels with not much in the way of spindle lines. Original poly lined inner is very clean for age. Poly still fully intact. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System as follows:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN GOOD MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. ALL OVERSEAS ORDERS (AND SOME UK ) HAVE CORNERS REINFORCED.
