Description
Very early The Beatles Please Please Me Black + Gold Labels PMC 1202 Mono original sleeve

MT tax code side 2
Vinyl in about VG with numerous scuffs,scratches, play tested sound great with some crackle & tics, one split second skip track 1 side 1 Sleeve is poor with split to bottom see last pic
This is the transitional/hybrid pressing which has Side One with the corrected Northern Song Credits whilst Side Two has the earlier Dick James version of the Credits, So this was pressed when they were changing over to reflect the Beatles newly formed company Northern Songs, The Sleeve is the 1st Version with Angus McBean Photo Credit on the edge of the Sleeve,
The Album was initially released on 22nd March 1963 in the UK with Dick James Credits on both sides, There were fewer corrected Northern Songs Black + Golds pressed and even fewer carrying both Labels such as this example.
