Description



An original 4th press on Uk Parlophone from summer1963. Matrix 1N/1N. Excellent value for money and every bit the equal of a 1st press for audio. No sold in uk stmt...Parlophone perimeter text. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in the original Ej Day cover. The original inner is included too. We have a clear plastic Nems bag to ship it in as a nice final touch..
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use.  Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback couple of slight deviations per side. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity and great ambience. At worst a couple of isolated ticks in two tracks...and a touch of light background in a couple of brief spots.
Cover (Vg+) Very nice clean and flat front with a rear which has avoided the process of ageing....The rear is very nice clean and white... Spine 95%intact. Excellent rigidity. There is some writing on the rear -- for instance at the end of each track...'John' or 'Paul' is mentioned...Please scrutinise the photos. But overall -- PPM covers tend to look pretty tired after 60 years.. This one is surprisingly tidy. I shall perform a gentle clean up of the rear - But the writing will remain.
Inner (Ex-) Very nice. No splits.
