Parlophone PCS 3042
MEGA-RARE 1964 STEREO pressing
with MIDSIZE STEREO cover!!!!
We are proud to offer this 1st class rarity! Stereo pressings of the early UK Beatles albums are generally rare. But among the RAREST is this true FIRST pressing of With the Beatles. Only 1 out of 250-400 records pressed was a stereo pressing in the early days - and THIS is one of these VERY RARE pressings! You can tell these rarest 1963/64 pressings by the designation "The Parlophone Co. LTD" on the labels and the omitted "Sold in UK".
IMPORTANT: This is the EXTREMELY RARE COVER WITH THE MID-SIZED "stereo" on the front side! This cover was made only very shortly by Ernest J. Day in 1964. The size of the "stereo" on the top right-hand side of the cover is exactly like on the LP "A hard day's Night". Only a handful of these covers were delivered! This is a MEGA-RARITY!
The MEGA-RARE EJD midsize stereo cover is in VG- condition with laminate creasing and wear.
The record is in VG- condition.
Complete with Original "EMITEX" inner sleeve.
Of course (as all our records) shipped with great care:
We put the record into a (free!) inner sleeve and place it on top of the cover (not inside!), inside a new outer protective sleeve! This goes into a sturdy cardboard package, so it arrives exactly in the same great condition as it leaves here!
We have years of experience with shipping internationally and pack very carefully. The buyer pays only the real postage and insurance costs, no "handling fees"! We ship from Germany and will gladly combine shipping if you win several auctions, so you save on postage! Please take a look at our other Beatles auctions!
