Condition
Labels: EXCELLENT -
A clean & bright set with some spindle marks and slight hole-wear on label 2 but no major faults.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both surfaces of this rare disc are extremely clean & bright and retain their 'as new' deep-gloss shines with no clouding or dull areas. The only major blemish is a 4mm scratch on the 1st track of side 2 - otherwise, there are no further significant marks elsewhere in strong daylight. Careful examination directly under my halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a few insignificant wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines but no further problems. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable on both sides, with no signs or dishing or warping.
Play: VERY GOOD +
This copy has received frequent, but careful, play and the sound throughout remains clean & clear with no play/groovewear or background noise. Apart from some moderate repeating clicks during 'Love Me Do', there are no other signficant or major faults elsewhere.
Cover
GOOD
A bright & clean front panel with some light handling & storagewear but no major faults. The rear panel has some water damage to the lower part but is otherwise clean and white with no writing or missing paper. All the delicate flipbacks are present with just some minor repair to the upper right corner. Both seams are unstressed & unsplit & the spine is clean and perfectly worded.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD
Cleasn & complete with just normal storagewear creasing but no splits, tears or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks. All sleeves/covers have no writing, splits or tears.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover. All text & images © Bright Field Music 2008
