THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
1969 UK *STEREO* PRESSING LP
This great sounding STEREO pressing dates from 1969 and is on the 7th variation of the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3042
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text & but retain their 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
There is no purchase tax code is visible around the centre of either label.
Housed in front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a small stereo indicator.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

A very clean pair with just a small handful of tiny spindle marks around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Clean, bright & feep-gloss surface which bear just two or three light surface marks on side 1 but no futher marks or wear on 2 in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp adds little more than some harmless wispy paper hairlines but additional blemishes or wear. Both sides of this fine copy lie 100% flat on the turntable with no traces of any dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
Pristine clean & unworn sound throughout this barely played copy on which there is no trace of any groove/play wear distortion on any track or in either channel. Both run-ins and all bands play without interference & the entire album is free form any clicks, pops or any other such audible distraction.

EXCELLENT -
A bright & unworn example which retains an undamaged high-gloss front laminate which bears just two small 'thumbnails' and a touch of storage rubbing but no heavy creasing or wear. All corners are clean & sharp with just a touch of shelfwear rubbing to the lower right together with some slight wear to the opening edges but no tears or feathering. The rear panel is clean overall with just some faint aged handling blemishes but no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are clean & fully intact & the seam and fully worded spine are all unstressed, unsplit & completely unworn.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD
Clean & unblemished with some careless storage creasing on one side and tiny tear to the top edge, but no writing or seam splits.
