1963 UK **3rd PRESS** MONO LP
**WITHOUT 'RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED' TEXT**
This rare 1963 third mono pressing is on the UK yellow and black Parlophone label PMC 1202
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' and 'Recording First Published..' texts but carry 'Parlophone..' rims
There is no tax/price code visible on either label.
Housed in an early front laminated, flipback 'Ernest J. Day' cover, with the 'Angus McBean' credit in the extreme right corner.
Complete with original poly-lined 'Use Emitex' inner-sleeve
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N
Stamper numbers: 2/MO & 1/AM
CONDITION
Disc Labels: EXCELLENT Visual & Audio: EXCELLENT MINUSVery thick and heavy vinyl with very bright and glossy surfaces displaying just few minor surface scuffs but no deep/feelable scratches.
There are just three light 'pops' on the side one run-in but there is no other audible wear.
The sound quality is clear and bright sound on every track without any groovewear/loudpassage distortion, heavy clicks, jumps or repeats.
100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Cover: EXCELLENT MINUS
A clean and strong cover displaying light to moderate storage and handling wear.
The front panel is clean with just some minor corner bruising and light laminate creases but has a clean, unworn opening edge.
The rear panel is very clean and white with a small written name top left but no other marks.
The spine is displays very slight wear but all the delicate flipbacks seams are intact and undamaged.
