CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT

An excellent set with just minor hole wear but no writing, touch-up or missing paper.

Visual: Side 1 VERY GOOD PLUS Side 2 EXCELLENT

Both surfaces are bright, glossy & clean; undulled by overplay or improper storage.
Side 1 bears a 5.5cm fingernail scuff together with a few small scuffs, none of which are feelable under my fingertips.
Side 2 is pristine with just a few barely visible light marks but no heavy scuffs or scratches.
Close inpection beneath a halogen desk lamp reveals an occaisional light scratch and wispy paper hairlines but no other major signs of wear.
The disc is pressed on thick, quality, sharp-edged vinyl, which lies 100% flat on both sides with no signs of dishing or warping.

Audio: VERY GOOD

Frequently but certainly not over-played, there is no major lessening to the sound quality.
Listening carefully at volume, some groovewear is audible on extreme loud peaks & passage with some minor background during quieter passages.
However, the overall the sound is full and powerful with a deep well defined bass & a certain clarity missing from later pressings.
A tick is audible during some bands on side 1 but there are no heavy clicks, pops, jumps or repeats anywhere.

Cover: VERY GOOD PLUS

The front panel is bright and clean with some light creasing to the upper left corner and some light edge wrinkles but no major faults.
The corner display some rubbing through storage and the opening edges just some light wear but no tears or 'feathering'.
The rear panel is very clean and white with no age discolouration, writing, marks or missing paper.
All the delicate 'flipbacks' are present and intact with just slight creasing to the upper right corner area.
The seams has some laminate flaking but both are strong and unsplit.
The spine is clearly worded & clean with no missing paper or laminate.
